What is the warranty?
The BubbleScan 201 comes with a one year warranty. During that time we will replace a defective unit with one from our stock of refurbished or new units. This warranty coverage can be extended for an additional two years for 15% of the current list price per year.

Is it portable?
No, the BubbleScan 201 was designed to be stationary.

How many forms can I scan in an hour?
Speed depends a lot on the quality of the forms. Forms that are bent, wrinkled, or warped will cause scanning errors that require rescanning. We have found in our scanning of many customer projects that while the listed speed is much higher a realistic scan rate is about 2000 forms per hour.

How reliable is the BubbleScan 201?
The BubbleScan 201 is very, very reliable. Properly marked forms are always read correctly. Problems are caused by bubbles that are filled in only partially or lightly or forms are not printed or cut precisely or are wrinkled, bent, or warped.

What happens when a question has two or more answers marked?
This depends on the configuration of the BubbleScan 201. Usually, only one answer is accepted and the BubbleScan 201 will report multiple answers as ">".

What are the system requirements?
You will need a Windows PC or laptop (any flavor of Windows) and a USB port. The memory requirements are negligible. Every laptop/PC will work.

How much does the BubbleScan cost?
There are different models. The entry level model with pencil-read head only is $2995. The model with pen & pencil readhead is $3495. Pricing before S&H.

Please contact us to discuss your situation. We want you to use the BubbleScan and we will work hard to find a way to accomplish this!

How do I order? How do I pay?
You can order via fax or email.
We generally prefer payment via credit card. However, we do accept formal POs from established organizations and existing customers with a good payment history.

Are there alternatives to purchasing a BubbleScan 201?
We do offer a rental program for customers that need a BubbleScan for only a limited time. Rental charges are 15% of the list price per week.
We also offer a Scan Service. You send us your BubbleScan-compatible forms and we do the scanning for you. We guarantee to email you results back within 3 business days of receiving the filled-in forms. Pricing ranges from 4¢ (50,000+) to 7.5¢ (500+).
